The Law and Justice Interim Committee (LJIC) will meet on May 12 via video conference.

The LJIC will continue several interim studies, hear an update from Department of Corrections' staff, and review six preliminary bill drafts it is considering recommending to the 2021 Legislature. Time will be provided for public comment.

The meeting will start at 8 a.m. and be streamed live online at: https://leg.mt.gov/.

An agenda and other meeting materials are posted on the LJIC's website. Materials include instructions on how members of the public can offer comment during the meeting.

Written public comments are also accepted and encouraged. Written comments received by 5 p.m. on May 11 will be forward to the committee members. Written comments received after that time will be included in the committee's minutes log for the meeting and sent to members after the meeting.
