The State Administration and Veterans' Affairs Interim Committee (SAVA) is a joint bipartisan committee of the legislature that meets between legislative sessions. The committee conducts interim studies as assigned, as well as administrative rule review, program monitoring, and bill drafting authorization for the following assigned agencies: Department of Administration, Montana Public Employee Retirement Administration, Montana Teachers' Retirement System, Montana Board of Investments, Department of Military Affairs, Montana Veterans Affairs Division, Office of the Secretary of State, and Office of the Commissioner of Political Practices.
